The initiative “Leonardo 4 Children” was launched by the Carano 4 Children foundation, with the support of numerous partners and sponsors.

The Foundation invites bodies and organisations that want to support these objectives of solidarity and social responsibility – such as institutional bodies, foundations, private companies, non-profit organizations – to support the following activities:

a) “Leonardo 4 Children” Talent Development programme

Support to the  “Talent Development” programme, dedicated to further encouraging and developing the education in the domains of “art” & “science” of the winners and finalists of the Leonardo 4 Children Awards in all its categories.

These include for example: economic support to a training experience selected by the beneficiary, special experience to visit art/music/science site, virtual or physical meeting with high-level personality or art/music/science expert, a workshop on art/music/science.

b) “Leonardo 4 Children” concerts and events

Support to the organization of events and charity concerts, of “Leonardo 4 Children”, by offering the venue, covering the costs of the artists, or by making a donation in exchange for a number of seats that the sponsor can offer to its employees, its partners or to beneficiaries.

c) “Leonardo 4 Children” books

Purchase of the books “Leonardo 4 Children”.

The foundation has a non-exclusive license on the copyrights of the winners. The book “Leonardo 4 Children” can be purchased at the price of 10€ at the following link https://carano4children.org/product/book-leonardo-4-children/.

d) Support of the foundation’s beneficiary projects

Support through donation of funds or material on art and science, creative or educational workshops, to children and young people involved in the initiative, and to the foundation’s beneficiary projects.

During the years, some of the projects supported by the foundation have been: Art and music for Syrian children in refugee camps in Jordan (UNICEF), Art and science for orphaned and abandoned children in Ukraine (Charity May), Art and science for street children in disadvantaged neighbourhoods of Nairobi, Kenya (Action for Children in Conflict, Fondazione Pianoterra).

e) Partnership for the promotion and scale-up of the initiative

The “Leonardo 4 Children” initiative is always looking to grow its reach and to increase the opportunities for children and young people, and it is open to any partnership that may support in increasing the promotion and outreach of the initiative, the involvement of participants to Awards, concert and the “Leonardo 4 Children” activities.

To grow together to make a bigger and bigger impact for the benefit of children and young people all over the world.

Sponsors and donors

The sponsors of the initiative are private companies, private foundations, schoolbooks editors, multimedia companies, as well as private individuals.

Sponsors can be involved by: a) supporting the Talent Development programme of the initiative, to provide training to children and young people in art and science; b) sponsoring the events and beneficiary concerts of the initiative; c) buying the “Leonardo 4 Children” books; d) cooperating to support the foundation’s beneficiary projects; e) promoting the initiative and supporting its scale-up.

The logo and reference to the sponsors will be promoted in the media material.

The foundation has been accepted in Transnational Giving Europe network to allow donors from Italy, France, Germany, UK, to claim tax benefits when donating to the foundation.
