“Carano 4 Children” non-profit foundation
The Carano 4 Children non-profit foundation has the mission to help children to develop their potential in scientific and artistic skills, addressing key global issues, and to support children in need, in particular orphans, abandoned, hospitalised or refugees, to overcome their post-traumatic stress thanks to the benefits of art & science.
The Carano 4 Children foundation has been created in Brussels in 2018, in memory of Luigi Carano and Erika Ciancaleoni, two married top aeronautical engineers and incredibly creative artists from Italy.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of the “Carano 4 Children” foundation has the following responsibilities:
To provide strategic orientation
To take the decisions necessary to achieve the objectives
To approve the annual programme and the budget
To supervise the activities.
It is composed of six members including the founder, acting pro-bono and in their personal capacity. They are renewed every 3 years.
The current members have been appointed until 12 March 2027 and are:
